What does one search return?

One key, one credit balance, two endpoints: /search to ask the web, /extract to read URLs your agent already has.

How is it different from a built-in search tool?

Model providers sell search inside their chat APIs. As of October 22, 2026, OpenAI and Anthropic charge $10 per 1,000 searches, plus the retrieved text as input tokens; Gemini 3 grounding costs $14 per 1,000 queries. Those tools return an answer with citations, and they tie you to one model.

LLMWebSearch returns the sources themselves. Your agent keeps any model, reads the pages, writes its own answer and cites the URLs. The built-in tools comparison lists the prices, the token add-ons and the storage rules side by side.

How do I start with LLMWebSearch?

Three steps; the slowest is the blockchain confirmation of your top-up.

  1. Top up in crypto

Send at least $25 in USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, SOL or LTC. No ID, no selfie, no documents, no work email.

  2. Buy a credit pack

5,000 searches for $9.25 or 25,000 searches for $41.25, paid from your balance. Your API key appears in the dashboard.

  3. Run a search

POST https://llmwebsearch.com/api/v1/search with a query and your key as a Bearer token. The quick start has code for Python, Node.js and curl.

What can you count on with LLMWebSearch?

  • robots.txt respected

Our reader introduces itself as LLMWebSearch and leaves out pages a site disallows. See our page reader.

  • No workarounds

When a site turns our reader away, the result comes back without content and with the site's status: we never solve CAPTCHAs, sign in to accounts or work around a block or a paywall.

  • Your queries stay yours

We do not train any model on your queries or on what the API returns, and we add no rule of our own against storing results; the rights of the sites whose pages you read still apply. Details in the privacy policy.

  • Errors cost nothing

A call that ends in an error uses no credit, and checking your balance is free.

  • Refunds and balance

Within 72 hours, a pack with less than 20% used goes back to your balance. Read the refund policy.

  • Support by email

A person answers support emails within 12 hours, seven days a week, and helps you wire search into your agent or framework, at [email protected].

Quick answers before you buy

What is LLMWebSearch?

LLMWebSearch is a web search API for AI agents that returns ranked results with the content of the top pages in Markdown, paid in crypto with no ID upload. Prepaid credits from $1.20/1K searches never expire. No KYC — no ID, no selfie, no documents. Pay in crypto. It is operated by SerpGoat LLC. You buy prepaid credits from a crypto balance, then send queries to one HTTPS endpoint. See the about page.

Does the API write the answer for me?

No. The API returns sources, not a written answer: your own model reads the pages, writes the reply and cites the URLs. That keeps you free to use any model, and it keeps the price of a search low.

How are searches counted?

One credit pays for one search: up to 20 ranked results, with the pages of the first 3 read and returned as Markdown. Reading 4 to 10 pages makes it 2 credits. A call that ends in an error costs nothing. Reading pages whose URLs you already have costs 1 credit for each started group of 3 pages returned with content, up to 20 URLs per call; refused or failed URLs are not counted. Checking your remaining credits with GET https://llmwebsearch.com/api/v1/credits is free.

Do I need to verify my identity or add a card?

No. LLMWebSearch asks for no ID, no selfie, no company documents, no work email and no credit card. Sign in with an account number; an email address is optional. You pay in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. The Acceptable Use Policy applies to every account.

Can Claude Code, Cursor or OpenClaw use it?

Yes. The docs include a copy-paste MCP server with a search_web tool for Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Cursor, an OpenClaw guide and an OpenAI function-calling tool. Keep max_chars low to fit your model's context.

Payment modelTop up from $25, then buy any credit pack from your balance. Money on your balance does not expire and buys search credits whenever you want. When a pack is cheaper than the minimum top-up, the part you paid only to reach that minimum comes back to you on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC, provided it is still unspent. The rest of a balance is not returned unless the law requires it
AccountSign in with an account number; an email address is optional. Your account number is how you sign in, so store it carefully. With an optional email on file you can recover it; with no email, a lost number is gone for good
Request logsEach call leaves one log line: the time, the account, the first 60 characters of the query, how many results and pages were returned, and the credits. Lines are deleted after 30 days. The content of the pages we read is not kept. Account number, orders, top-ups and credit totals stay while the account exists, then only as long as accounting law asks. Authorities receive records only when a law compels us
